Skinny Days have been around since a chance meeting in Liverpool between Nords Dag Holtan-Hartwig and Halvor Folstad birthed the synth pop duo project back in 2010. But now two becomes three with new single 'The One That Got Away' as the pair bring fellow Scandinavian Emilie Adams into the mix as guest vocalist. Full of melancholy the band accurately describe it as being "kind of like going to a party with a broken heart and then finding the love of your life at 2:30am" and we can see what they mean as sad lyrics give way to the upbeat tempo. Despite the content, this one is feel good through and through. - SJ
